What is the “K0” issue?
Failure often begins with the small mesh screen inside the mechatronics. Under pressure, it can break loose and clog the N218 solenoid valve.
The typical fault code that follows is P2884 – “Engine Disconnect Clutch – Stuck Open/Closed”, which disables the internal combustion engine and forces the vehicle into electric-only limp mode.
If the issue is limited to this solenoid-related fault, this repair kit enables a fast and cost-effective fix by replacing only the worn components, restoring normal operation without a full mechatronic overhaul.
