While Alfa Romeo engineers did a great job designing the new Stelvio and Giulia models, they forgot one thing – which is the fact that sometimes us petrolheads we want to switch off the traction control and enjoy the whole deal.

This significant flaw can luckily be fixed by retrofitting the rDNA switch, originally found in QV Quadrifoglio. By engaging the Race mode, you’ll be the one in control. Great upgrade for track days!

To install this function, you will need the rDNA switch fitted with the required coding and programming for vehicles software system.

How to order rDNA switch?
You are free to order the hardware from our webshop for DIY installations, or you can get the whole process done and dusted at our ECU Helsinki Customs shop located in Vantaa, Finland.

rDNA switch compatibility

• Fits in Giulia / Stelvio models MY 2016 – 2018
• (2019-> and later, with monostable button, contact us to get your Race mode activated at our shop)
• Steering wheel shift flaps require a software version later than MY2018 (can be upgraded at dealer)
• In Diesel powered models the shift flaps are disabled in Race mode
• This upgrade is not fully compatible with MY2017 AWD models, please contact our support for further info.
