VTT BMW 5-bar MAP sensor for high boost setups

The VTT BMW 5-bar MAP sensor is a plug-and-play upgrade for BMW engines when targeting boost pressure beyond the factory sensor range. It allows readings up to roughly 58 psi and is an essential upgrade for heavily tuned setups where the OEM MAP sensor reaches its limit.

What does it do

When boost levels increase with tuning, the stock MAP sensor can max out and no longer provide accurate pressure readings. A 5-bar MAP sensor extends the measurable range, enabling proper pressure data for safer and more accurate tuning.

Important note

This sensor will not work properly unless you update MAP sensor scaling in the DME tune, and in a port injection tune if applicable.
