AMSOIL Engine Oil – DOMINATOR 15W-50
AMSOIL oils and additives – lubrication is the last place to compromise.
Amsoil is a US-based lubricant manufacturer known for maintaining extremely high quality standards without the cost-cutting measures that have affected many traditional oil brands. The focus is purely on lubrication performance and engine durability.
In our own workshop projects Amsoil is often a requirement, not just a recommendation. A quality oil is the cheapest insurance you can buy for a tuned or heavily loaded engine.

What should you know about this product?
DOMINATOR Racing Oil is designed for competition use under high RPM, load, and temperature conditions. It is a completely uncompromising lubricant, engineered for maximum resistance to film pressure, shear forces, and heat, while ensuring minimal friction and blow-by.
This oil is built from highly thermally stable base stocks to resist oxidation at extreme temperatures. It contains approximately 1600 ppm of zinc-phosphate (ZDP), supplemented with other advanced anti-wear agents. DOMINATOR also features a significant amount of friction modifiers to reduce internal friction.
Although DOMINATOR Racing Oil is technically formulated to perform like a single-grade oil (it contains no viscosity improvers), it meets multi-grade classifications. The drain interval is approximately 3-4 races or as needed.
Dominator racing oil can also be used in very high-performance street cars. These are typically supercharged/turbocharged, catalyst-free vehicles, often running E85 fuel, with power exceeding 200 hp/liter, and driven only in summer. The maximum street drain interval is 4800 km (3000 miles). The short interval is necessary because Dominator contains minimal detergents or acid-neutralizing agents required for typical street use, as these would compete for space with the critical race-grade anti-wear components.
NOTE! If the engine has new piston rings, we recommend running the engine in with AMSOIL Break-In Oil. For example, a 30-minute tuning/break-in cycle on a dyno is sufficient, with actual pulls done on Dominator. Dominator is so slick that the piston rings will not seat (micro-hone) properly. Break-In oil is formulated to be minimally slick, allowing the piston rings to seat quickly. Break-In oil contains over 2000 ppm of zinc-phosphate, making it ideal for new camshaft break-in as well.
