What should you know about this product?

Signature Series (SS) is AMSOIL’s line representing the latest expertise for gasoline engines. Engine protection against wear and power loss is 75% better than required by the stringent API SN oil standard.

In turbocharged direct-injection (GDI) engines, this oil provides 100% protection against harmful Low Speed Pre-Ignition (LSPI). The highly thermally stable synthetic raw materials make it excellently suited for turbo use, protecting the turbocharger 72% better against coking than required by the GM dexos1 Gen 2 specification.

Signature Series contains 50% more detergents and provides 90% better protection against sludge formation. Intended for newer high-performance turbocharged engines, including those running E85.

Drain Interval 

• Normal Service: Up to 25,000 miles (40,000 km), 700 hours, or one year, whichever comes first, when using an AMSOIL oil filter.
• Severe Service or with other-brand filters: Follow the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended interval or 15,000 miles (24,000 km), or one year.
• Severe Service (e.g.): Modified engines, commercial fleet vehicles, fuels other than gasoline (E85, gas), extensive idling, short trips, or stop-and-go driving.

5W-30 (ASL) meets the following specifications: API SP (Resource Conserving), SN PLUS, SN…; GM dexos1 Gen 2 (supersedes LL-A-025, 6094M and 4718M); ACEA A5/B5, A1/B1; Honda HTO-06; Ford WSS-M2C946-B1, WSS-M2C946-A, WSS-M2C929-A; Chrysler MS-6395; ILSAC GF-6A, GF-5, GF-4.
