AMSOIL Z-ROD® 10W-40 – High-Zinc Synthetic Oil for Classic & High-Performance Engines
AMSOIL Z-ROD® is engineered specifically for classic cars, performance street builds and modified engines that do not use catalytic converters. Its high ZDDP (zinc-phosphate) content provides exceptional protection for flat-tappet camshafts, lifters, pushrods, rocker arms and valvetrain components. The fully synthetic formula withstands high heat and shear forces, making it ideal for turbocharged and high-RPM engines.
Z-ROD® also contains a unique blend of corrosion inhibitors that protect internal engine surfaces during long storage periods – a feature typically found only in marine oils. Its stability and cleanliness make it well-suited for street cars that see occasional track use.

Compatibility
Z-ROD® is compatible with all seal materials and can be mixed with other oils, although mixing may reduce drain interval and performance. Due to the high ZDDP content, it is not recommended for vehicles equipped with catalytic converters.
