This HG Motorsport ignition coil is a performance-focused upgrade for Mercedes-Benz turbocharged M133, M270 and M274 engines. Compared to the factory ignition coil, it delivers a stronger and more stable spark, especially under high load and elevated temperatures.
It is an excellent replacement for worn OEM coil packs, while tuned and remapped engines benefit even more from the improved ignition stability. Depending on the setup, this can result in smoother combustion and potentially a small power gain.
