The BMW N54 is a fantastic tuning platform, but once you start turning things up, one of the first common issues is annoying misfires. Weak spark can also lead to ignition timing corrections (timing pull), which quickly kills power and consistency.

With the Finnish-made SETES B58 Coil Conversion Kit, you can upgrade to modern, high-performance B58 OEM ignition coils using a true plug & play solution. No soldering, no cutting, no modifications – just clean OEM+ fitment.

This all-inclusive bolt-on kit can be installed in about the time it takes to enjoy 1–2 cold garage beverages – and your ignition issues are history.

How is the SETES ignition kit installed?

No wiring needs to be cut and nothing should be soldered – this is a fully plug & play kit.

All you need are B58 ignition coils of your choice – OEM BMW coils work perfectly, or you can step up to reinforced DINAN versions. For spark plugs, we strongly recommend NGK SILZKBR8D8S for N54 engines (see “Related products”).
