In EA888 Gen3 engines the stock coil is not so bad as in previous generations, but with high power Stage2 / Stage3 setups the frustrating misfire can still become reality.
Stock coils are often replaced with similar coilpacks from models such as RS model 2.5T, while in reality these are not different in their performance at all. These APR coils are a real performance upgrade, with +14% more juice to your spark plugs.
