Important notes: This short shifter is designed to seamlessly integrate with the original shift cables of several transmissions. It’s a perfect fit for all 02M and 02Q transmissions, whether they’re 5-speed or 6-speed cable-operated models. Newer versions of 02J transmissions are also compatible, as long as the selector cable and shift cable have the same diameter.

Here’s a quick way to check: If both your shift cables are the same size, this short shifter is your perfect match! If the cables have different diameters, you’ll need our 02A shifter instead.
