VAG 1.8 / 2.0L EA888 Gen.3 Boost Gauge Tap, BAR-TEK

Modern EA888.3 TSI engines do not offer a convenient or reliable factory location for connecting a boost pressure gauge. This adapter solves the issue in a clean and professional way by utilizing a free, unused port on the intake manifold.

The adapter is installed directly into the intake manifold and provides a stable pressure reference without interfering with the factory boost pressure (MAP) sensor. Since the adapter is not electrically connected to any sensor, there is no risk of signal disturbance or fault codes.

For easiest installation, we strongly recommend ordering the dedicated punching tool, which allows the sealed intake manifold port to be opened quickly and safely.

This solution is suitable for both street and performance builds where accurate boost pressure monitoring is required.
