Upgraded LPFP in-tank fuel pump controller module for EA113 engines, direct replacement for the original control unit. Fits for example Audi S3 8P, Volkswagen Golf MK6 R and other VAG models from this generation using the same fuel system design. Many owners notice when installing a higher performance fuel pump, or simply after years of use, that the factory fuel pump controller module begins to weaken or operate inconsistently. This becomes especially apparent in tuned vehicles where the fuel system is required to deliver significantly more performance than stock. The original pump controller can be considered a wear component, and its performance may degrade over time. Symptoms can include fuel pump interruptions, uneven running, or hesitation under load. A good way to prevent these issues is to upgrade the controller module to a reinforced version when upgrading the fuel pump to a higher capacity unit. The module is rated for a maximum output of 17A, which is sufficient for most upgraded fuel pumps and Stage 1–2 builds. For high power setups and very large aftermarket fuel pumps, we recommend considering a more advanced TORQBYTE controller system, which replaces the factory unit entirely with an upgraded solution from power supply to control logic and provides full adjustability for demanding builds.
- Plug and play installation replacing the factory unit
- No coding or software changes required
- Designed to handle higher load than the stock controller
- Mounted on top of the fuel tank between the tank and chassis
After installation, verify proper fuel gauge operation. If needed, gauge calibration can be adjusted using VCDS / VAG-COM software.
