The GFB VTA (Vent To Atmosphere) valve is an upgrade designed to replace the often plastic and rubber-based factory diverter valve with a much stronger and more responsive version. Unlike the DV+ series, the VTA releases boost pressure to atmosphere, delivering that sporty whoosh sound with every shift.

This T9401 version is compatible with many VAG group models using the electronically controlled diverter valve integrated directly into the turbo housing (type C). Installation is simple: just bolt it on in place of the factory valve – no drama, no complicated wiring.

Installation

The GFB VTA T9401 installs directly in place of the factory diverter valve. No special tools are required. In some cases, intake components may need to be moved aside to access the valve.
