High flowing downpipe, to give your car more power and torque. Less back pressure and lower exhaust temps.Downpipe , and the first metre or two of your exhaust system are generally the most critical point when it comes to exhaust gas flow. At this point, exhaust is still hot after the combustion and needs all the available capacity to find it’s way out efficiently. With upgraded downpipe you will make a big difference, and also ensure your turbocharger can work in optimal way.

Please keep in mind, that depending on the model this set might replace or disable your emission control systems such as DPF filter EGR or AdBlue. Check your local regulations before doing so.

Main types of Downpipes

• RACE, so called decat, track downpipe. Strongest exhaust note, but generally not approved for road use as it doesn’t pass emission tests. (Check your local regulations)
• 100CPI Euro3 catalytic, a compromise with high flowing 100CPI matrix which filters the worst of the smells and odors while softening the exhaust note a bit.
• 200CPI Euro4 is the best seller, high flowing 200CPI metallic matrix. Filtration capacity meets allowed emission levels in most tests and vehicles (Check your logal regulations). Doesn’t restrict your exhaust flow in any significant way.
• For limited models, you can find additional OBD, EURO6 or FIA certified catalytic converters.

Catalytic converters

RM uses only catalytics of the highest quality. These cells can handle spiritful driving and tuned engines with ease. In most cases, the flow of a 100 or 200CPI cat won’t be different from a straight pipe in any way that would affect your cars performance.
