KONI Special Active Dampers for Tesla Model 3 & Model Y

The factory suspension on Tesla Model 3 and Model Y is often described as too firm and uncomfortable, especially on rough roads and daily urban driving. KONI Special Active dampers are designed to significantly improve ride comfort without sacrificing handling or stability.

How does KONI Special Active work?

KONI Special Active technology is based on Frequency Selective Damping (FSD). This allows the damper to automatically adapt to road conditions:

• Softer response to small bumps and road imperfections
• Firmer damping during cornering, braking, and dynamic driving
• No electronics or manual adjustments required

The result is a much smoother and more comfortable ride, while maintaining the precise and stable driving characteristics Tesla is known for.
