Many modern performance cars are equipped with electronically controlled dampers (EDC / adaptive suspension). When replacing the factory suspension with a conventional sport suspension or coilover kit, the vehicle will typically trigger fault codes, warning lights or enter a reduced-function mode due to missing electronic dampers.

The BC Racing EDC Delete Kit is designed to solve this issue. It safely cancels the factory electronic damping system, preventing dashboard warning lights and diagnostic trouble codes when the original adaptive dampers are removed. This allows a clean installation of aftermarket suspension components without electronic errors.

Each kit is vehicle-specific and consists of plug-and-play resistor modules that connect directly to the original damper connectors at each corner of the vehicle. Installation is straightforward and does not require coding, ECU modification or permanent changes to the wiring.
