The Integrated Engineering POLY Cold Air Intake System is engineered to improve airflow, reduce intake air temperatures, and increase turbocharger efficiency for the Audi B9/B9.5 (80A) Q5 2.0T. The premium rotomolded polymer airbox combines excellent thermal resistance, increased internal volume, and motorsport-inspired airflow optimization.

Featuring a massive 5-inch air filter, integrated velocity stack, and dual-pressure intake design, the system supports everything from ECU tuning to hybrid turbocharger upgrades while providing gains of up to 10–20 HP on tuned vehicles.

Technical Information

The airbox is manufactured using a premium rotational molding process that delivers consistent wall thickness and excellent heat resistance. An integrated velocity stack creates a smooth transition from the large air filter into the turbocharger, minimizing turbulence while maximizing airflow efficiency.

Performance

Flow bench testing recorded gains of up to 134 CFM over the factory intake, with a high airflow improvement of 26.76% at -25 in. H₂O. The larger filter, increased airbox volume, and dual-pressure intake design support power gains of up to 10–20 HP on tuned vehicles while providing sufficient airflow for hybrid turbocharger upgrades.

Installation

The system installs directly using factory mounting locations without permanent modifications. Extensive 3D scanning and application-specific engineering ensure OE-like fitment and straightforward installation.
