Continental Ethanol Content Sensor
The original Continental ethanol sensor is the only real choice for flex-fuel systems and standalone engine management systems such as MaxxECU. With this sensor, you can make your engine management fully compatible with E85 – allowing you to fill up with any mix of ethanol and gasoline. The ECU automatically adjusts fuel delivery, boost pressure, and ignition timing based on the data provided by this sensor. This same sensor is also commonly used with standalone ethanol content gauges.
Note: There are many low-quality copies of this sensor on the market. Make sure you’re getting an original Continental-manufactured sensor to ensure reliable signal quality and proper operation when it comes to your engine’s air-fuel ratio.
