Genuine Volkswagen Group replacement bolt used for securing the front subframe to the vehicle body on many Audi, Volkswagen, Seat, CUPRA and Skoda models based on the MQB platform.

This is a genuine VAG torque-to-yield mounting bolt. The bolt is tightened using both a specified torque and an additional tightening angle, which permanently stretches the bolt to provide the required clamping force.

The bolt should always be replaced with a new one after it has been loosened or removed. Reusing an already stretched bolt may prevent the correct clamping force from being achieved, even when the same tightening procedure is followed.
