BAR-TEK® High-Pressure Fuel Pump Upgrade – 2.0 TFSI (EA113)

The BAR-TEK® high-pressure fuel pump upgrade is a complete, ready-to-install solution for tuned 2.0 TFSI engines. Compared to internal upgrade kits, a full pump upgrade is often the easier, safer and more reliable choice—especially on EA113 engines, where the original pump housing and internal frame can suffer from wear over time.

This pump is based on an original unit that has been professionally converted to deliver significantly higher fuel pressure and flow. Thanks to a larger 9.8 mm piston, the BAR-TEK pump provides up to 50% more flow than the factory high-pressure pump, making it a must-have upgrade for higher power levels.

The integrated tappet pump is DLC-coated to minimize wear, friction and corrosion, which is critical for long-term reliability in tuned engines. Because the pump is supplied as a complete upgraded unit, installation is plug & play with no internal assembly or special tools required.

The pump has been tested up to 8,500 RPM and is supplied including the cam follower.

Software calibration is recommended after installation. For optimal and safe operation, an upgraded pressure relief valve is also recommended to ensure correct rail pressure under load.

Important installation note:
After installation, do not start the engine immediately. Switch on the ignition and wait briefly to allow the low-pressure pump to prime the system. Only start the engine once fuel pressure has been built. Failure to follow this procedure may cause immediate damage to the pump.
