Known weak point when tuning the BMW N55 engine, can be found first from the HPFP high pressure fuel pump, but right after that from the original in-tank LPFP pump which isn’t up to high stages of tuning or high Ethanol blends. To maintain a safe line pressure that is able to feed, cool and lubricate the high pressure pump, is critical.

Choose one of the two stages, as the name suggests Stage3 is often preferred when running a big hybrid turbo or full E85 build.
