New AVILOO Battery Warranty brings extra peace of mind to used EV ownership – at no additional cost!

AVILOO EV battery health tests have long been part of our product range, and the latest announcement is exciting news for used electric vehicle buyers. AVILOO has introduced the new AVILOO Battery Warranty, which is now included free of charge with eligible AVILOO FLASH Battery Tests, provided the vehicle meets the warranty requirements.

The purpose of the Battery Warranty is to increase confidence when buying and selling used electric vehicles, even when choosing the quick FLASH Test.

Here’s the idea: while the AVILOO FLASH Test provides an independent snapshot of your battery’s current condition, the new Battery Warranty also offers financial protection if the battery’s health deteriorates significantly more than expected during the warranty period.

The warranty is based entirely on AVILOO’s independent battery diagnostics and vehicle-specific analysis.

 

Please note: The AVILOO Battery Warranty applies only to the AVILOO FLASH Test. It is not included with the AVILOO PREMIUM Driving Test, which remains the most comprehensive battery health assessment available thanks to its real-world driving analysis.

 

How does the AVILOO Battery Warranty work?

The concept is simple:

• We perform an AVILOO FLASH Battery Test on your vehicle.

• If your vehicle meets the eligibility requirements, the Battery Warranty is activated automatically at no additional cost.

• AVILOO calculates a vehicle-specific minimum State of Health (SoH) threshold using the world’s largest battery diagnostics database.

• The warranty remains valid for 12 months or 20,000 km, whichever comes first.

• If the battery’s SoH falls below the calculated threshold during the warranty period, AVILOO pays a €3,000 compensation. A second AVILOO FLASH verification test is required to confirm the claim. This test is initially charged at the standard price but will be fully reimbursed if the warranty claim is approved.

What changes for the customer?

The Battery Certificate still provides an independent assessment of your battery’s condition at the time of testing, just as before. The new Battery Warranty is a separate document that adds financial protection for the miles ahead.

This makes buying a used electric vehicle even safer while giving sellers a valuable new selling point in addition to the trusted battery health certificate.

 

The warranty is issued directly by AVILOO and does not change the contents of the independent Battery Certificate. Any warranty claims are also handled directly by AVILOO via the claim form available on the manufacturer’s website.

 

Key terms of the AVILOO Battery Warranty

• Included free of charge with eligible AVILOO FLASH Battery Tests.

• Valid for 12 months or 20,000 km.

• Provides up to €3,000 compensation if the battery’s State of Health falls below the vehicle-specific SoH threshold.

• The warranty is based on an individual SoH threshold calculated specifically for your vehicle – it is not the same percentage for every vehicle.

• Compensation requires a second AVILOO FLASH verification test and compliance with the warranty terms and conditions.

• The warranty is linked to the vehicle and can be transferred to a new owner within the limits of the warranty terms.

The AVILOO Battery Warranty is available for eligible vehicles that undergo an AVILOO FLASH Battery Test. The vehicle must meet AVILOO’s eligibility requirements, and the test must be carried out correctly according to AVILOO’s procedures.
