F* Race charge pipe, BMW N55 F-series, automatic
The original plastic N55 charge pipe is a familiar weak point. Age, heat and boost pressure can cause the pipe to crack or its connection to fail. At that point, pressing the accelerator may produce little more than a hiss and a bad mood. The F* Race reinforced charge pipe is a practical upgrade for both stock and tuned N55 builds.
This pipe replaces the original charge pipe on compatible F-series BMW models with the N55 engine. Rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions are available for automatic transmissions. Select the version that matches your vehicle’s drivetrain.
Connection for additional equipment
The charge pipe includes a connection point for equipment such as a Hobbs pressure switch, water-methanol injection nozzle or boost gauge pressure line, so there is no need to drill the original plastic pipe to add a connection.
Additional devices are not included. Check the connection type and any adapter requirements before installation.

Check the engine version. These year ranges do not mean every car within each model series is compatible. This pipe is for the N55, not the later B58-powered M140i, M240i, 340i or 440i, or the S55-powered M2 Competition. For the M2, select the rear-wheel-drive version and the vehicle must have an automatic/M DCT transmission. Manual-transmission cars are not covered by these options.
