FTP Motorsport S55 turbo inlet pipe kit, BMW M2 Competition / M3 / M4

FTP’s V2 inlet pipe kit replaces the original plastic pipes leading to the turbochargers on BMW’s S55 engine. The aluminium pipes are considerably wider than the factory ones (see the product photo), removing a fairly substantial restriction on the turbo inlet side. That becomes especially useful with hybrid turbos or a tuned engine.

Fitment

• BMW M2 Competition F87, S55 (2018–03/2019). Does not fit the original “OG” M2 with the N55 engine.

• BMW M4 Coupé F82 (02/2013–02/2017) and F82 LCI (05/2016–03/2019), S55

Installation

Fitting the inlets is fairly straightforward, but access is tight in this part of the engine bay. The most sensible time to upgrade them is alongside a turbo replacement, turbo service or another job that already involves removing the charge pipes and plastic covers.
