Eventuri Carbon Fibre Intake for BMW G2X M340i / M440i Gen 3

Eventuri – The Art of Airflow.

The Eventuri Generation 3 intake system is designed for 2025 and newer BMW G20, G21, G22, G23 and G26 M340i and M440i models with the B58 engine. The system improves the turbocharger air supply by reducing restriction while protecting the intake air from engine-bay heat.

The intake is positioned close to the exhaust manifold, making effective heat management particularly important in this application. Eventuri uses a fully sealed carbon fibre airbox to isolate the filter from hot engine-bay air. A heat shield with gold reflective backing further reduces radiant heat transfer from the exhaust manifold.

In addition to the factory intake duct, the system uses a second fresh-air opening connected to the wheel arch. This Dual Feed design supplies the large sealed airbox with additional cool air without exposing the filter directly to engine-bay heat.

The volume of the carbon fibre airbox has been maximised within the available space. It also includes a recessed section to retain clearance for potential strut braces.

A larger and smoother airflow path to the turbocharger

The factory convoluted intake tube is replaced by a smooth prepreg carbon fibre tube. The Eventuri tube starts with an internal diameter of 111 mm before tapering smoothly towards the original turbo inlet elbow. Its smooth internal surface and gradual change in diameter help maintain a controlled, uninterrupted airflow path.

The comparison image below shows the larger diameter of the Eventuri tube compared with the factory part. The increased flow area reduces the restriction before the turbocharger.

The application-specific dry filter has a larger filtration area than the factory filter. According to Eventuri, its filtration performance has been tested to ISO standards.
