IE Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake System for Audi 8V & 8Y RS3 & 8S TT RS 2.5T

The Integrated Engineering Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake is a high-performance intake system developed for Audi RS3 and TT RS models equipped with the DAZA 2.5T five-cylinder turbocharged engine. Designed without compromise, it combines a genuine one-piece carbon fiber airbox, large internal volume, 4-inch carbon inlet pipe and a motorsport-inspired velocity stack to maximize airflow for stock and high-power applications.

On properly tuned vehicles, the system can support gains of over 25 horsepower while improving throttle response and increasing both turbocharger and engine induction sound compared to the factory intake.

Technical Information

The seamless one-piece carbon fiber airbox minimizes joints and potential air leaks while providing a large internal volume for unrestricted airflow. Carbon fiber also absorbs less heat than common aluminum or steel intake components, helping maintain lower intake air temperatures.

An integrated velocity stack smoothly channels airflow from the oversized air filter into the turbocharger while reducing turbulence and pressure loss. The large 4-inch inlet pipe provides sufficient airflow for upgraded turbochargers and high-output ECU calibrations.

Performance

The intake utilizes two separate airflow sources to maximize performance. A front ram-air inlet supplies cool outside air while additional louvered openings increase the available airflow for high-horsepower applications. Together these airflow paths help maintain unrestricted airflow across a wide range of power levels.

The oversized air filter and optimized intake path improve engine efficiency throughout the RPM range while enhancing the distinctive five-cylinder engine note and turbocharger sound.

Heat Shield

An aluminum heat shield is included to protect the carbon fiber inlet pipe from radiant heat generated by the turbocharger. This helps maintain cooler intake temperatures while preserving the appearance and durability of the carbon fiber finish.

Installation

The intake installs using the factory mounting locations without permanent modifications. All required intake components, silicone couplers, heat shield, hardware and clamps are included for a straightforward bolt-on installation.
