IE Carbon Cold Air Intake System for Audi B9/B9.5 RS4 & RS5 2.9T

The Integrated Engineering Carbon Cold Air Intake System has been engineered to maximize the performance of the Audi B9 and B9.5 RS4 and RS5 2.9T twin-turbo V6. Its seamless one-piece high-gloss carbon fiber airbox increases airflow, lowers intake air temperatures, and improves turbocharger efficiency while adding an aggressive induction sound.

A massive 5-inch air filter, integrated velocity stack, and dual-pressure air supply work together to support everything from ECU tuning to high-performance hardware upgrades. When paired with the optional IE Turbo Inlet Pipe, the system is capable of delivering gains of up to 28 HP and 26 lb-ft of torque.

Technical Information

The seamless carbon fiber airbox maximizes internal volume while maintaining excellent thermal insulation and structural rigidity. An integrated velocity stack creates a smooth transition from the large air filter to the turbocharger inlets, minimizing turbulence and pressure losses.

Performance

Flow testing shows airflow improvements of up to 39.27% compared to the factory intake system. Combined with the optional IE Turbo Inlet Pipe, the intake supports gains of up to 28 HP and 26 lb-ft while helping maintain lower intake air temperatures during demanding driving conditions.

Installation

The intake installs using factory mounting locations without permanent modifications. Extensive 3D scanning and application-specific engineering ensure OE-like fitment and straightforward installation.

Notes

For maximum performance, IE recommends pairing this intake system with the optional IE Turbo Inlet Pipe, sold separately.
