IE Turbo Inlet Pipe for Audi 8V RS3 & 8S TT RS 2.5T EVO
The Integrated Engineering Turbo Inlet Pipe is a high-performance replacement for the restrictive factory turbo inlet on Audi 2.5T EVO engines. Featuring a larger cast aluminum design with optimized internal geometry, it delivers significantly improved airflow to the turbocharger.
Developed using detailed 3D engine bay scanning and airflow optimization, the inlet increases airflow by up to 28.27% compared to the factory component. It is especially beneficial on Stage 2 and higher-output applications where the original turbo inlet becomes a significant restriction.
Features
- Up to 28.27% greater airflow than the factory turbo inlet
- Reduces restriction before the turbocharger
- Supports increased horsepower and torque on Stage 2 and higher-output builds
- Aircraft-grade cast aluminum construction
- Precision CNC-machined sealing surfaces
- OE-style mounting flange and sealing design
- Retains all factory emissions equipment
- Compatible with the factory intake and the IE Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake System
- Direct bolt-on installation
Technical Information
The inlet was engineered using precise 3D scans of the engine bay to maximize available space while maintaining proper clearance to surrounding components. Its cast construction allows a larger internal diameter and smoother airflow path than the factory inlet.
By eliminating restrictive transitions and improving internal flow characteristics, the IE Turbo Inlet Pipe reduces pressure loss ahead of the turbocharger and improves airflow at higher power levels.
Performance
The increased airflow allows the turbocharger to operate more efficiently, particularly on tuned engines and higher-output setups. Reducing inlet restriction helps maximize the performance potential of the factory turbocharger and supporting modifications.
For high airflow, the inlet pairs perfectly with the IE Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake System.
Installation
The inlet installs as a direct replacement without permanent vehicle modifications. Most of the installation can be completed using standard hand tools, although a Dremel or similar rotary tool with a cut-off wheel is required. Typical installation time is approximately two hours.
Notes
Not compatible with 2021+ Audi RS3 (8Y) models. Not compatible with right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles.
