The Integrated Engineering Turbo Inlet Pipe eliminates the airflow restrictions of the factory turbo inlet on the Audi B9 and B9.5 SQ5 3.0T. Featuring a large 4-inch effective internal diameter, optimized geometry, and cast aluminum construction, it delivers significantly improved airflow for both factory and hybrid turbochargers.

When combined with the IE Carbon Cold Air Intake System, total airflow increases by up to 57.6% over stock, making it an ideal upgrade for Stage 1, Stage 2, and hybrid turbo builds.

Technical Information

The Turbo Inlet Pipe was developed using detailed 3D scans of the engine bay to maximize airflow while maintaining factory clearances. Each cast aluminum housing is CNC machined in-house to extremely tight tolerances, ensuring exceptional fit, finish, and airflow efficiency.

Performance

Flow bench testing demonstrated airflow gains of up to 23% over the factory turbo inlet. Combined with the IE Carbon Cold Air Intake System, airflow increases by up to 44.2% on factory turbochargers and up to 57.6% on hybrid turbo applications. The additional airflow supports ECU tuning, improves turbo response, and can produce gains of up to 19 HP and 21 lb-ft when paired with compatible IE hardware.

Installation

The integrated billet aluminum Slip-Fit lower mounting post greatly simplifies installation by eliminating the difficult-to-access factory lower bolt. The inlet installs directly to factory mounting locations without permanent modifications. The IE SQ5 Carbon Cold Air Intake System is required for a direct bolt-on installation.

Notes

Hybrid turbo adapter rings are sold separately. For high airflow and performance, this inlet is designed to be paired with the IE Carbon Cold Air Intake System.
