The Integrated Engineering Cold Air Intake is a performance intake system engineered for EA113 2.0T FSI engines. Featuring a large motorsport-inspired velocity stack, two-piece heat shield and a precision-designed MAF housing, the system increases airflow while maintaining accurate mass airflow sensor readings for reliable engine operation.

Stock vehicles can gain over 10 horsepower, while tuned and big turbo applications can benefit even further. The intake also sharpens throttle response and delivers a noticeably more aggressive turbocharger and induction sound.

Technical Information

The custom-designed MAF housing diameter and sensor placement preserve factory airflow calibration, helping eliminate inaccurate airflow readings that can lead to fault codes or poor drivability with many aftermarket intake systems.

An integrated velocity stack delivers smooth airflow from the oversized air filter to the turbocharger while minimizing turbulence and pressure loss. The two-piece heat shield isolates the intake from engine bay heat and channels cool outside air directly from the front of the vehicle.

Performance

The freer-flowing intake reduces the restrictions of the factory airbox, allowing ECU tuning, larger turbochargers and supporting modifications to operate more efficiently while maintaining stable MAF sensor readings.

The oversized air filter and optimized intake path also produce a more pronounced turbocharger and engine induction sound compared to the factory intake system.

Installation

The system installs using the factory mounting points without drilling or permanent modifications. All required intake tubing, heat shields, hardware and clamps are included, allowing installation in approximately one hour using basic hand tools.

Notes

This intake is designed exclusively for EA113 2.0T FSI timing belt engines. It is not compatible with later EA888 timing chain engines. Verify your engine version before ordering.
