The Spool VTA adapters change the Mercedes-AMG bypass valves from recirculating operation to vent-to-atmosphere. When the throttle closes, excess boost is released outside instead of being routed back into the intake, making the turbo discharge sound much more noticeable.
The adapters are primarily an acoustic modification. They install with the original valves, avoiding a complete valve-system replacement. Confirm sealing and compatibility with the exact turbo and valve arrangement.
