BMW OE-style 3.5 bar MAP / TMAP pressure sensor for various BMW engines. This sensor is originally fitted to several BMW models, but in the tuning world it is particularly well known as a popular upgrade for N55 engines, where the measuring range of the standard sensor can become a limitation when running higher boost pressures.

The 3.5 bar sensor allows higher boost pressure to be measured compared to the standard lower-range sensor and is a common upgrade for more powerful Stage 3 setups running an upgraded turbocharger and significantly increased boost pressure.

The sensor is an OE-style direct-fit component and installs in the original location without additional adapters. When upgrading from a different MAP / TMAP sensor, the ECU calibration must be configured with the correct scaling for the 3.5 bar sensor.
