Bushing selection
Supplied with four softer red and two harder black bushings. Red bushings suit naturally aspirated street cars where additional vibration should be limited. For supercharged, track or drag use, Steeda specifies a combination of black and red bushings as shown in the instructions. The firmer combination transmits more engine vibration.
Carefully align the bushings during installation and reuse the factory heat shields. Severe-duty use may require additional bushing protection or reinforcement, such as an external metal band clamp. Read the installation guide first.
