In tuned engine, the OEM catalytic converter can quickly become a bottleneck. Straight pipe, aka. “de-cat” is not an optimal way to go either, considering the emissions, unpleasant smells and rough exhaust note it might cause.

Redback metallic catalytics to the rescue – cats with 200CPI metallic core. This kind of catalytic has a flow capacity not so distant from a straight pipe, while still handling your emissions and exhaust fumes. Metallic 200CPI core can handle the famous “pops n bangs” features better than stock cat as well.
