This stainless-steel downpipe set was developed for use with Akrapovič’s titanium Slip-On and Evolution link pipe set. The design has no catalytic converters.

It creates a racing sound with clear acoustic feedback at high revs, while avoiding unwanted drone according to the manufacturer.

Fitment and points to consider

For the manufacturer’s listed BMW M2 G87, M3 G80/G81 and M4 G82/G83 configurations. The stated M3/M4 versions include xDrive, CSL, LCI, M3 Touring and M4 Competition and Convertible. A compatible Akrapovič Slip-On and Evolution link pipe configuration is required. Those components are sold separately. ECU remapping is mandatory, including to prevent potential check-engine warnings. This catalyst-removal product is for racetrack use only and does not meet road-emission requirements.

Installation and setup

We recommend having your Akrapovič exhaust installed by an authorised Akrapovič dealer. Appropriate test equipment and software help verify correct exhaust operation, valve control and settings after installation.
