Do not use an unapproved version on public roads, and always check the current road regulations. On some models, a freer-flowing catalyst may trigger a warning light because the ECU monitors exhaust flow. In these cases, the ECU settings may need adjustment or the downstream oxygen sensor may require a suitable adapter.
