Akrapovič develops materials, construction and sound as one complete exhaust system. Its development work refines both operation and acoustics. Manufacturing takes place at Akrapovič’s own facilities, with demanding cast components produced in its in-house foundry. Futurez has proudly served as an Akrapovič importer for more than a decade.
The titanium exhaust is finished with two pairs of carbon-fibre and titanium tailpipes. The exhaust-valve housing is cast in Akrapovič’s own foundry. The Control Kit integrates valve operation with AMG Dynamic Select modes. Sound is smooth in everyday driving, with deeper tones under load and a brighter character at higher engine speeds.
Our product package includes the required parts
The price includes the main product and the mandatory Akrapovič parts for your selected configuration. Select one suitable control or link pipe option where alternatives are offered.
- S-ME/T/6H – main exhaust
- L-ME/SS/3 – Evolution link pipe set, stainless steel
- P-HF1298 – pre-facelift Control Kit
- P-HF1528 – facelift Control Kit
Available configurations: Pre-facelift (P-HF1298), Facelift (P-HF1528).
Control Kit and Sound Kit have different roles. The mandatory Control Kit is included in the chosen vehicle configuration. Verify the actual facelift version rather than relying only on registration year.
Manufacturer measurements
Manufacturer test configuration: Mercedes-AMG A 45, stock exhaust. Figures apply to the tested configuration and are not a promise for every vehicle version.
| Measurement | Result |
|---|---|
| Power | Up to +6.4 kW / +8.7 hp (metric), 6 700 rpm |
| Torque | Up to +9.1 Nm, 6 700 rpm |
| Weight saving | −9.6 kg / −46.2 % |
| Measured system weight | 11.2 kg |
Power and torque figures are maximum gains at the stated engine speeds, rather than differences between peak engine outputs. Measured component weight is separate from shipping weight.
Fitment and approval
CLA 45 / CLA 45 S C118 and X118, 2020–2026. The manufacturer also confirms CLA 45 S Shooting Brake fitment. Select the control kit according to the facelift version.
ECE approval applies to the manufacturer’s specified OPF/GPF configuration. Physical fitment on a non-OPF car does not extend the approval to that car.
Optional Sound Kit
The Akrapovič Sound Kit P-HF1296 provides a remote selection between quieter and sportier valve modes. Select a package with or without it. Installing the Sound Kit invalidates ECE approval.
Installation and setup
We recommend installation by an authorised Akrapovič dealer. Suitable test equipment and software help verify exhaust operation, valve control and any required ECU settings after installation.
We offer professional installation at our ECU Helsinki Customs workshop in Vantaa, Finland.
