Akrapovič develops materials, structure and sound as one complete system. Months of development refine both performance and the sound character until everything is in tune. Manufacturing takes place in Akrapovič’s own facilities, with intricate cast components made in its own foundry. At Futurez, we have proudly served as an Akrapovič importer for over a decade.
The Evolution Line for the BMW M8 is made from high-grade, lightweight titanium alloy. Extensive testing and development have shaped a deep, sporty V8 sound with higher frequencies that Akrapovič likens to a muscle car. The system is tuned for a smooth sound across driving modes, without drone that would detract from cruising comfort.
Titanium and carbon fibre tailpipes finish the full titanium system. A valve on each side of the central muffler uses a housing cast in Akrapovič’s own foundry. A cast collector in the link pipe mixes the exhaust gases from both banks of the engine. The optional Sound Kit adds control of the valves and sound modes.

Fitment and points to consider
For BMW M8 and M8 Competition F93 Gran Coupé without an OPF/GPF filter. Not compatible with OPF-equipped cars. Akrapovič describes installation as plug-and-play. The system does not meet road-emission requirements and is intended for racetrack use.
Optional Sound Kit
The optional Akrapovič Sound Kit P-HF1263 lets you switch between quieter and sportier sound modes with the wireless Sound Remote Controller. A receiver operates the exhaust valve actuators. This receiver is already included in the Evolution system. Using the Sound Kit invalidates ECE approval. Manufacturer images are representative.
The Sound Kit is optional. Select the package without it or add it using the product options.

The following accessories are sold separately. Check each accessory’s details for fitment and any restrictions.
