Akrapovič develops materials, structure and sound as one complete system. Months of development refine both performance and the sound character until everything is in tune. Manufacturing takes place in Akrapovič’s own facilities, with intricate cast components made in its own foundry. At Futurez, we have proudly served as an Akrapovič importer for over a decade.
The Slip-On Line for the BMW M240i G42 is made from lightweight, high-grade titanium and finished with hand-crafted carbon fibre tailpipes. Intricate components are cast in Akrapovič’s own foundry. Two acoustic reflectors in the tailpipes direct part of the sound towards the cabin.
The system has two valves rather than the single stock valve. An included TNG controller operates the additional valve. Resonators on either side of the central muffler shape a smooth, rich cruising sound that becomes deep and sporty under more dynamic driving.

Power and torque figures are the manufacturer’s maximum gains at the stated engine speeds, rather than differences between peak engine outputs. The vehicle version and configuration affect the results achieved.
Fitment and points to consider
For the BMW M240i G42 in the manufacturer’s listed OPF/GPF configuration. ECE approval is valid only on OPF-equipped cars. ECU remapping is not required. An extra original valve actuator, part 18 30 8 686 640, must be purchased separately and is excluded from the package price. Adding the optional Sound Kit P-HF1452 invalidates ECE approval.
Optional Sound Kit
The optional Akrapovič Sound Kit P-HF1452 lets you switch between quieter and sportier sound modes with the wireless remote. A receiver operates the exhaust valve actuators. Using the Sound Kit invalidates ECE approval. Manufacturer images are representative.
The Sound Kit is optional. Select the package without it or add it using the product options.

Installation and setup
We recommend having your Akrapovič exhaust installed by an authorised Akrapovič dealer. Appropriate test equipment and software help verify correct exhaust operation, valve control and settings after installation.
We offer professional installation of Akrapovič products at our ECU Helsinki Customs workshop in Vantaa, Finland.
