The Slip-On Line for the BMW X3 M and X4 M is made from lightweight, high-grade titanium, with exhaust valve housings cast in Akrapovič’s own foundry. Hand-crafted titanium and carbon fibre tailpipes complete the package.

The sound is tuned to suit the turbocharged straight-six engine. Development focused on the acoustic feedback during gear changes and the perception of volume, while avoiding unwanted cabin drone.

The X3 M package includes two pairs of hand-crafted carbon fibre TP-CT/59 tailpipes.

The X4 M package includes two pairs of hand-crafted carbon fibre TP-CT/60 tailpipes.

The TP-CT/59 tailpipe set for the X3 M is available until the manufacturer’s stock runs out. We verify availability before delivery.

Akrapovič tested the exhaust against the stock M Sport system on a 2020 OPF/GPF-equipped BMW X3 M / X3 M Competition F97.

Power and torque figures are the manufacturer’s maximum gains at the stated engine speeds, rather than differences between peak engine outputs. The vehicle version and configuration affect the results achieved.

Fitment and points to consider

This Slip-On package is for OPF/GPF-equipped BMW X3 M / Competition F97 and X4 M / Competition F98 (model year 2020 in the manufacturer’s price file). ECE approval is stated for this configuration. The stock exhaust must be cut as directed. The package includes the correct mandatory tailpipe set: TP-CT/59 for X3 M or TP-CT/60 for X4 M. Adding a Sound Kit or Evolution link pipe invalidates ECE approval.

Installation and setup

We recommend having your Akrapovič exhaust installed by an authorised Akrapovič dealer. Appropriate test equipment and software help verify correct exhaust operation, valve control and settings after installation.
