This titanium Evolution link pipe set was developed with Akrapovič’s Slip-On exhaust for the BMW M2 Competition. Larger pipes and a middle muffler are designed for smooth exhaust flow and extend the Slip-On into an Evolution configuration.

The sound is deep, sporty and close to a racing tone, without unwanted overtones or drone. Open and closed valve positions make a distinct difference. The package includes a dedicated control kit, receiver and wireless remote. The valves can also be regulated through a smartphone app.

Manufacturer measurements

The performance figures describe the tested Slip-On and Evolution link pipe combination against the stock exhaust. The weight figures refer to the link pipe set.

Power and torque figures are the manufacturer’s maximum gains at the stated engine speeds, rather than differences between peak engine outputs. The vehicle version and configuration affect the results achieved.

Fitment and points to consider

Developed on an OPF/GPF-equipped BMW M2 Competition F87N and listed for both OPF and non-OPF versions, including the manufacturer’s stated M2 CS configuration. A compatible Akrapovič Slip-On is required and sold separately. With the S-BM/T/26H Slip-On, its P-HF1386 module must be used with this link pipe set’s receiver and remote. ECU remapping is mandatory, including to prevent potential warning lights. For racetrack use only. It does not meet road-emission requirements.

Installation and setup

We recommend having your Akrapovič exhaust installed by an authorised Akrapovič dealer. Appropriate test equipment and software help verify correct exhaust operation, valve control and settings after installation.

We offer professional installation of Akrapovič products at our ECU Helsinki Customs workshop in Vantaa, Finland.
