Akrapovič develops materials, structure and sound as one complete system. Months of development refine both performance and the sound character until everything is in tune. This titanium Evolution link pipe set extends the Akrapovič Slip-On system. Larger pipes and a middle muffler are designed for smooth exhaust flow. The configuration omits the second pair of catalysts found in the stock system.

Paired with the Slip-On, it produces a deep, sporty sound without unwanted overtones or drone, according to Akrapovič. The sound changes distinctly with the exhaust valves open or closed. The manufacturer states that the configuration does not trigger warning lights and requires no ECU remapping.

Manufacturer measurements

Akrapovič measured the combined Slip-On and Evolution link pipe configuration against the stock exhaust of a 2014 BMW M4 F82/F83. The weight figures refer to the link pipe set.

Power and torque figures are the manufacturer’s maximum gains at the stated engine speeds, rather than differences between peak engine outputs. The vehicle version and configuration affect the results achieved.

Fitment and points to consider

For BMW M3 F80 and M4 F82/F83 with an Akrapovič Slip-On exhaust, including CS and GTS versions according to the manufacturer. This is a link pipe extension requiring a complete Slip-On configuration and its tailpipes, which are not included in this accessory’s price. The TP-CT/26 set is already included in our Slip-On package. The product does not meet road-emission requirements and is for racetrack use.

Installation and setup

We recommend having your Akrapovič exhaust installed by an authorised Akrapovič dealer. Appropriate test equipment and software help verify correct exhaust operation, valve control and settings after installation.

We offer professional installation of Akrapovič products at our ECU Helsinki Customs workshop in Vantaa, Finland.
