JR JRWA4 31 mm wheel spacers, 4×114.3 -> 5×114.3

Japan Racing JRWA4 is a bolt-on PCD adapter with a thickness of 31 mm per side. It moves the wheel outward to adjust its position, create additional clearance or produce a wider stance. The PCD adapter forms its own bolt-on connection between the hub and the wheel.

This black model uses the 4×114.3 -> 5×114.3 bolt pattern and converts the hub PCD to the wheel-side PCD. Each spacer moves the wheel outward by 31 mm, increasing the total track width of one axle by 62 mm. The package contains two spacers.

Ideally, the wheel offset places the wheel in a position that works correctly and sits naturally within the wheel arch. Factory wheels often use a conservative offset, which can leave an otherwise suitable wheel unnecessarily far inside the arch.

How does a spacer affect wheel position?

The wheel’s ET or offset describes the position of its mounting face relative to the wheel centreline. Installing a 31 mm spacer moves the wheel outward by 31 mm and reduces its effective offset by the same amount. For example, an ET45 wheel sits like an ET14 wheel after this spacer is fitted.

Moving the wheel outward can improve its position in relation to the wheel arch and increase clearance from suspension components. It also increases track width. An excessively thick spacer can bring the tyre too close to the arch, so clearance must be checked with the vehicle loaded and with the steering both straight and at full lock.

Check the dimensions and attachment before ordering

The spacer’s bolt pattern, centre bore, centring dimensions and thread must match both the vehicle hub and the wheel. This model has a 66.1 mm hub bore and a 66.1 mm wheel-side centring lip.

Slip-on spacers often require longer wheel bolts or studs. Bolt-on JRWA models form their own attachment assembly. Always check the correct conical or ball seat, thread compatibility, sufficient thread engagement and that the vehicle’s original bolts or studs do not contact the wheel or spacer structure.

JRWS1
A thin slip-on spacer without its own wheel-side centring lip. The vehicle’s original hub lip must extend far enough through the spacer to centre the wheel. Check whether longer wheel bolts or studs are required.

JRWS2
A slip-on hub-centric spacer with centring on the hub and wheel sides. Longer wheel bolts or studs are normally required.

JRWA1
A bolt-on spacer for cars whose wheels normally use bolts. The spacer bolts to the hub, and the wheel attaches to the spacer’s pressed-in studs with wheel nuts.

JRWA2
A bolt-on spacer for cars whose wheels normally use bolts. The spacer bolts to the hub, and ordinary wheel bolts fasten the wheel into the spacer’s threaded holes.

JRWA3
A bolt-on spacer for cars with factory wheel studs. The spacer attaches to the vehicle’s studs with special nuts, and the wheel mounts to the spacer’s pressed-in studs.
