Steeda S550 Mustang GT 2 Piece Brake Disc Front & Rear Kit

Steeda fully floating two-piece rotors replace the Mustang GT’s original one-piece discs. Front dimensions are 380 × 34 mm and rear 330 × 25 mm. They work with ABS, six-piston Brembo front calipers and original rear calipers with integrated parking brakes.

Reduced mass and heat control

Hard-anodised billet aluminium hats reduce weight and heat transfer towards wheel bearings. Grooved iron-alloy friction rings clear gases and keep pad surfaces clean. Directional internal ventilation channels improve cooling.

Floating attachment allows radial and axial expansion between the aluminium hat and iron ring, reducing thermal stress, vibration and pad knock-back. Steeda quotes savings of 15.4 lb/about 7 kg per front pair and 4 lb/about 1.8 kg per rear pair, approximately 8.8 kg combined.

The manufacturer’s track test reports a temperature reduction of up to 200 °F difference, equivalent to approximately 111 °C. This is a result from the tested vehicle configuration.

Package options

555-6034 contains front and rear discs, 555-6032 the front pair and 555-6033 the rear pair.
