Steeda spherical bearing replaces the axle-side upper-control-arm bushing. Custom preloaded PTFE-lined stainless bearing minimises deflection and stabilises pinion angle under heavy load.
Housing/retaining nut are machined from 1018 steel and yellow-zinc plated. A 360-degree stainless spiral lock retains the bearing. 6061 billet-aluminium spacers allow suspension articulation.
Manufacturer cites use in 1,500+ hp street cars and seven-second drag cars with 1.1-second 60-foot times. these are test applications, not promised vehicle results.
Includes one bearing. This competition component increases noise, vibration and harshness versus the original bushing.
