I-M Shield reduces heat transfer from the engine to the underside of the intake manifold. The pre-cut adhesive shield aims to limit manifold and intake-air heating. Select it by the installed manifold rather than vehicle year alone.

187-140014 fits the 2018-on GT original-style manifold, reference JR3Z-9424-A. 187-140011 is for the GT350 manifold and corresponding Bullitt/Mach 1 applications. Also suitable for earlier Coyotes converted to these manifolds.

Radiant-heat resistance is 1,100 °F/approximately 593 °C continuously and 2,000 °F/approximately 1,093 °C intermittently. Adhesive rating is 300 °F/approximately 149 °C. Degrease the semi-smooth surface, wipe with pre-paint cleaner or isopropyl alcohol, dry and press the shield firmly into place. Finish the edges with the supplied tape.
