The Integrated Engineering Throttle Body Upgrade Kit unlocks the remaining performance potential of the supercharged Audi 8R Q5 and SQ5 3.0T engine. The kit replaces the restrictive factory throttle body with a larger German-made Continental V8 throttle body, increasing airflow by up to 20% and eliminating one of the largest intake restrictions on high-output Dual Pulley setups.

The complete kit includes a CFD-optimized cast aluminum adapter, plug-and-play wiring harness, and reinforced silicone coupler for IE Cold Air Intake Systems. When combined with the correct ECU calibration, the system supports up to 548 horsepower.

Technical Information

The cast aluminum adapter was engineered using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to create the smoothest possible airflow transition from the intake system to the larger throttle body. Extensive flow bench and dyno testing determined the included Continental throttle body offered the ideal balance of airflow and performance.

Performance

The larger throttle body removes the airflow bottleneck found on high-power Stage 2 Dual Pulley combinations utilizing upgraded supercharger pulleys, crank pulleys, cooling upgrades, and higher-octane fuels. The system increases airflow by up to 20% and supports power levels of up to 548 horsepower when combined with the appropriate hardware and calibration.

Installation

The kit is completely plug-and-play and includes all hardware required for installation. The supplied extension harness allows the new throttle body to function without electrical modifications. An IE Cold Air Intake System is required for a completely modification-free installation.

Notes

Requires an existing IE Stage 2 Dual Pulley ECU tune with the included throttle body calibration. The updated calibration is provided free of charge with compatible IE Stage 2 Dual Pulley software.
