POWER BOOST Carefully engineered and dyno-tested, this intake manifold yields optimal power results under any conditions. Thanks to the unique plenum, velocity stack, and runner design, setups with GT28 or larger turbos will experience gains across the mid-high RPM range with minimal sacrifice in low-end power.

FLEXIBLE THROTTLE BODY PLACEMENT IE intake manifold’s modular plenum design allows the throttle body to be positioned on either side of the engine bay. The entire plenum can be disconnected from the runners and flipped in either direction, facilitating easy installation with minor adjustments for virtually any turbo setup.

When using the intake manifold on a small port head, the IEBAVA16 phenolic transition spacer is offered, establishing a seamless connection between the two without any flow-reducing “steps.”

Is tuning required for this manifold?
For optimal performance, tuning is recommended. However, if the factory throttle body is utilized, it is not strictly necessary. Tuning becomes imperative when upgrading to a larger throttle body.

The manifold is designed to work seamlessly with the factory fuel rail without requiring modification. However, for higher horsepower applications, IE offers a high-flow billet fuel rail that is both functionally and visually desirable.

How do I determine if my cylinder head is a small port or large port?
Cylinder heads are stamped with the three-letter engine code on the front corner, near the #1 cylinder. Only the AEB and AGU engine codes indicate large port heads; all other codes represent small port heads and require the use of the IEBAVA16 phenolic transition spacer.
