The Integrated Engineering Turbo Inlet Pipe is engineered to eliminate the factory turbo inlet restriction found on the Audi B9 and B9.5 S4 and S5 3.0T. It is the ideal upgrade for tuned vehicles, larger turbochargers, and IE Cold Air Intake Systems where increased airflow is critical for maximizing performance.

Developed using detailed 3D engine bay scans, the cast aluminum housing utilizes every available millimeter of space to create an effective 4-inch internal flow path. The result is substantially improved airflow, faster turbo response, and greater power potential.

Technical Information

The inlet pipe is manufactured from aircraft-grade cast aluminum, allowing complex internal geometry that maximizes airflow while maintaining excellent durability. Each casting is CNC machined in-house to ensure precise tolerances and OE-quality fitment.

Performance

Flow bench testing demonstrates a 23% increase in airflow compared to the factory turbo inlet. When combined with an IE Cold Air Intake System, airflow increases by 37.4% with the stock turbo and up to 61.49% with hybrid turbocharger applications. Testing also recorded gains of up to 19 horsepower and 21 lb-ft of torque over the factory configuration.

Installation

An innovative billet aluminum slip-fit retainer post replaces the difficult lower mounting bolt, making installation significantly easier. The inlet installs directly on factory turbochargers and many popular hybrid turbo upgrades when equipped with the appropriate adapter ring.

Notes

Hybrid turbo adapter rings are sold separately. A separate silicone adapter may be required when retaining the factory intake system.
