Steeda Mustang Trunk / Boot Pop Kit

These replacement gas struts lift the S550 boot lid when you release it using the key fob. They replace the factory struts without additional wiring or switches.

Low temperatures can slow opening. A particularly large or heavy spoiler may prevent automatic lifting, although the struts still assist manual opening and support the lid.

For Ford Mustang S550 GT, EcoBoost, Bullitt and Mach 1, 2015–2023. Not for S650 models from 2024. Current part 555-0697 replaces the discontinued 555-0696 kit.
